simple and affordible way to solve stress releif,Ideal homemade present for mother's day!!..

My mums always going on about how she needs to relax more, but doesn't have the money for a pamper session or any real time to fit making something to help her relax into....so for a christmas present i decided to make her these lavander tea-light candles holders,They are made from real dried lavander, having the smell of lavander near you is a natuaul remidie for relaxation, and its in expensive, pretty to look at,and will last you all year round...so now my mum can put these tea lights where she likes around the house, for a relaxating time for whenever she'd like one!

I made these ones by recyling some unwanted jam jars, buying dried lavander and dreid roise buds(optional!!)from a local soupmakers store, and finding some ribbon i already had around my house-also can be bought cheaply from a textile shop-most places will do smaller strips of ribbon for under 50p,and buying some thin brown rope from a gardening centre, then its just finding a way that works for you,and looks pretty for organising it all to fit nicely around the jam jar,I did mine by triming the lavander to size for the jars, glueing each bit of lavander on,leaving it over night to set and then carefuly tying on some ribbon round the lavenader coated jar, into a bow!
You can also add some rose buds ,Though I just choose to do this because i thought my mum would like it this way!
Hope you have fun making them ,if you ever wunted too try it out for yourselfs or someone special to you!! have fun,

yep knitted moomins!..

This was a joke present for my sister as a christmas present,we loved watching the moomins on tele as kids! and I did wunna prove to myself I could knit one really! made her laugh lots and lots! hope it inspires you !

redesigned and reworked by me!

These high waisted reworked skirts are remade and designed completely by me! With this recession on I couldn't afford the same skirts as my friends where buying on the high street eg.topshop £35 ones!,so I decided to hunt the sale rails of chairty shops-I came across these two long yet high waisted skirts (the type that are only really suitable for the over 60's that live in churches there whole life!! hah you know the ones!) anyway,I could see If I shortened the lenght by half they would make really lovely high waisted skirts,I hope you like them,I was heading more for the 1920's look with the light blue one and more of a country indie looks for the darker blue one!

I've also designed this tee,by buying a stencil book, and some fabric paint, then with the stencil of the dear I kept rotating the image,to create a futureistic look to it! hope you like it aswell, keep  your eyes pealed as ill be selling them on ebay shortly!

Here's some adorable miniture bunting Ive made for my best friend! I taken a simular style of bunting material as the other bunting  I've made, but just made it a smaller size. All material is reused from old vintage sraps of material I've selvide from friends and chairty shops! eg.old blankets, pillow cases and curtains!
